FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – SEPTEMBER 10, 2019

RIGHT AT HOME OF CENTRAL NEW JERSEY PRESENTS OUR SECOND ANNUAL “SMASH-OUT ALZHEIMER’S” EVENT

East Brunswick (Right at Home of Central New Jersey) - Right at Home of Central New Jersey will host and sponsor our second annual Smash-Out Alzheimer’s event, an exciting day of pumpkin smashing, live music, holiday fair, service and food vendors, gift baskets, and much more at Mattison Crossing Assisted Living located at 93 Manalapan Avenue, Freehold, New Jersey on Sunday, November 24, 2019 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Our Smash-Out Alzheimer’s event will benefit Alzheimer’s New Jersey.

There will be pumpkin painting, pumpkin smashing, music, entertainment and service providers, as well as local businesses and artisans selling such things as handbags, holiday decorations and crafts. We’ll also have plenty of delicious food for sale plus a holiday vendor fair.

Right at Home of Central New Jersey has already completed 2 successful Facebook fundraisers with Pampered Chef and LuLaRoe. We also have 2 Facebook fundraisers currently running, one with Yankee Candle (which runs through January 8, 2020) and the other selling pumpkin-shaped pasta with Fun Pasta Fundraising. (For our prior Smash-Out Alzheimer’s event, we also partnered with a number of restaurants, such as Cheeburger Cheeburger, Chipotle, Moe’s Southwest Grill and Coldstone Creamery throughout the year to expand our fundraising efforts beyond our major event, Smash-Out Alzheimer’s, and continue to fundraise throughout the entire year).

Because so many of Right at Home of Central New Jersey’s past and present clients suffer from Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, we are proud to announce that we are forming a 501c3 tax-exempt organization to be able to raise funds for Alzheimer’s-related organizations on an ongoing basis all year long. Beth Sholom, Owner/Executive Director of Right at Home of Central New Jersey, has long been passionate about giving back to the community we serve. Her motto is that we always treat and advocate for our clients the way we would our own family and her charitable works and fundraising efforts to raise money for numerous charities underscores her passion and commitment to serve and better the lives of the senior population.

Over our years of service to seniors we have seen the decline in so many of our clients who have suffered from Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. Because of that, we are particularly focused on doing what we can to find a cure. Alzheimer’s is a progressive disease that takes away the ability of a person to live independently, as well as robbing them of the social skills and cognitive thinking abilities we all take for granted.
