Right at Home of Central New Jersey Celebrates Pride Month

Right at Home of Central New Jersey
Celebrates Pride Month

The right people, doing the right things,
the right way, for the right reasons.
Right at Home.

The month of June is celebrated as Pride Month to recognize LGBT people and their accomplishments, as well as to draw attention to issues relating to gay rights, including marriage, adoption, and discrimination.

Right at Home of Central New Jersey partnered with the School of Social Work and the School of Nursing and Health Studies at Monmouth University to offer assisted living facilities, rehab centers, long-term care facilities and seniors centers a free cultural competency training session on working with older LGBT adults. We also focus on the ways that our in-home caregivers can address the unique concerns and service needs of LGBT adults.

We at Right at Home of Central New Jersey are proud to work with and provide care to people of every religion, race, sexual orientation and belief system. We promise to continue to always treat everyone we work with with the greatest respect not only during Pride Month but every day of the year. As President Barack Obama said:

"When all Americans are treated as equal, no matter who they are or whom they love, we are all more free".
