Second Annual “Smash Out Alzheimer’s” Fundraiser Benefitting Alzheimer’s New Jersey® Presented by Right at Home of Central New Jersey
On November 24, Smash Pumpkins for a Good Cause at Mattison Crossing at Manalapan Ave in Honor of Alzheimer’s Awareness Month

Presented by: Right at Home of Central New Jersey, an in-home elderly care and assistance service Hosted by: Mattison Crossing at Manalapan Avenue, a senior living facility
WHAT:
On November 24, Right at Home of Central New Jersey will present its second annual “Smash out Alzheimer’s” event in Freehold, NJ at the Mattison Crossing at Manalapan Avenue in honor of Alzheimer’s Awareness Month. Attendees of the event will be able to decorate their own pumpkins before they have the opportunity to smash them to pieces. All proceeds will support Alzheimer’s New Jersey and the 600,000 New Jersey residents impacted by Alzheimer’s and other dementias. In addition to pumpkin smashing, guests can visit a variety of vendors, enjoy live music, refreshments and participate in raffles throughout the event.

WHY:
Over 600,000 people in New Jersey are affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias, including 180,000 individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and 448,000 caregivers. Funds raised through the second annual “Smash out Alzheimer’s” Event will support Alzheimer’s New Jersey programs such as care consultations, family support groups, the Alzheimer’s New Jersey Helpline, the Respite Care and Wellness Program, the Always Safe® initiative and the Clinical Trial Connections® program. Fundraisers like this are crucial in the mission of Alzheimer’s New Jersey to provide programs and community partnerships that increase awareness and support the needs of New Jersey residents impacted by Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
